Yes! Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email so you can follow your artwork's journey to your home.

For orders outside the European Union, customs duties and import taxes may apply depending on your country's regulations. These fees are the responsibility of the buyer and are not included in the purchase price.

You have the right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving any reason. To exercise your right of withdrawal, please contact us at info@heidygrootfineart.com with a clear statement of your decision to cancel the agreement.

Return Conditions:

• The artwork must be returned in its original, undamaged condition
• The work must be returned in its original packaging
• Return shipping costs are at the buyer's expense
• Please send the work back registered and insured to: Hogeweg 26, 1906 CB Limmen, The Netherlands

Refund:
After receiving and approving the returned item, we will refund the full purchase amount within 14 days of receipt using the same payment method you used for the original purchase. Please note that due to international shipping times, the total refund process may take longer than 14 days from the moment you send the return. Shipping costs will not be refunded.

Damaged or Defective Products:
If you receive a damaged artwork, please contact us within 48 hours at info@heidygrootfineart.com and send photos of the damage. Please take photos of both the packaging and the painting itself. We will assess the situation and work with you to find an appropriate solution. This may include free return shipping or another arrangement, and you will always be entitled to a full refund of the purchase amount within 14 days of us receiving the returned item.

All artworks in my shop are original, one-of-a-kind oil paintings. Each piece is hand-painted by me and comes with a certificate of authenticity.

Paintings are shipped unframed to ensure safe delivery. This also allows you to choose a frame that perfectly matches your interior. The canvas is gallery-wrapped and ready to hang as is, or you can have it professionally framed.

I work exclusively with professional-grade oil paints, primarily water-soluble oils from Winsor & Newton's Professional series. Each painting is created on gallery-wrapped canvas with a depth of 4cm (1.6"), giving the artwork a substantial, museum-quality presence.

I use high-quality brushes and palette knives to achieve various textures and effects. All materials are carefully selected for their lightfastness and archival quality, ensuring your painting will maintain its vibrancy for generations to come.

The sides of the canvas are finished to complement each piece - you can see how each painting's edges are treated in the product photos.

We accept all major credit cards, PayPal, and other secure payment methods through Shopify's encrypted checkout system.

All paintings have been drying for 6-8 weeks and are protected with a temporary retouch varnish. Keep your painting away from direct sunlight and moisture. Dust gently with a soft, dry cloth and avoid touching the painted surface.

After 1-2 years, the painting will be fully cured and can receive a final varnish layer if desired. This is not necessary but can provide additional protection. You can have this done by a professional art conservator. For deep cleaning, always consult a professional.

Each painting comes ready to hang with a professional hanging wire attached to the back of the canvas. Simply use a sturdy wall hook appropriate for the painting's weight.

For the best display, hang your artwork at eye level in a location away from direct sunlight and moisture. Avoid placing paintings above radiators or in humid areas like bathrooms.

The 4cm deep gallery-wrapped canvas creates a beautiful floating effect on the wall and looks stunning both framed and unframed.
